Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- Previous dementia experience preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State/Local requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge and experience working with elderly populations preferred
- Experience with dementia preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the Culinary Services Coordinator and Cook in maintaining a clean kitchen
- Prepare meals according to dietary guidelines
- Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
- Provide sensitive and professional service to elderly residents
- Assist with inventory management and restocking kitchen supplies
- Support resident needs, including those with dementia or specialized dietary requirements
