The position of Dietary Aide at Auberge is essential within the Culinary Services team. As a Dietary Aide, you will assist the Culinary Services Coordinator and Cook in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, as well as preparing and delivering meals tailored to meet the specific dietary needs of elderly residents. This role requires a high level of tact, sensitivity, and professionalism to deliver service that meets industry-leading standards. The Dietary Aide contributes directly to the wellbeing of residents by ensuring their meals are safely prepared and delivered with care and respect, particularly for those requiring specialized diets related to dementia or other health conditions.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
  • Previous experience in food service preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
  • Previous dementia experience preferred
  • Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State/Local requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
