The Dietary Aide role at Auberge is integral to the Culinary Services team, supporting the Culinary Services Coordinator and Cook by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while assisting in meal preparation and delivery. This position demands tact, sensitivity, and a high level of professionalism to ensure outstanding service delivery aligned with industry standards. The role provides an opportunity to work closely with elderly residents, including those with dementia, helping to ensure their nutritional needs are met in a respectful and caring manner. The job requires physical stamina as aides must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds comfortably. Qualified candidates bring a Food Service Sanitation certificate in accordance with state and local requirements, and prior experience in food service and elder care is preferred. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Service Sanitation certificate according to state and local requirements
- Previous experience in food service preferred
- Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
- Previous dementia experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English in an understandable manner

Job Duties
- Assist Culinary Services Coordinator and Cook in preparing and delivering meals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Support dietary needs of elderly residents including those with dementia
- Follow established protocols for food handling and storage
- Lift, push, and pull kitchen supplies and equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members and residents with professionalism and sensitivity
