We are currently seeking a dedicated and personable Dining Associate to join our Continuing Care department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional service to our residents, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable, efficient, and supportive of their nutritional needs. As a Dining Associate, you will be responsible for greeting and welcoming residents upon their arrival at the restaurant, facilitating smooth operations in collaboration with seaters, servers, and kitchen staff. Your duties will include assisting with meal preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal cleanup, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the dining areas and kitchen. You will also answer phone calls professionally, follow up on resident requests, and lend support in training wait staff members. This position offers a competitive hourly wage range of $15.00 to $16.00, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package featuring paid time off, medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible team members, and a 401k plan with company matching. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a food service environment
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work some weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome residents upon their arrival at the restaurant
  • Ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant by coordinating with seaters to help servers and kitchen staff work efficiently
  • Assist with preparation, stocking, serving, and post-meal clean-up
  • Ensure all residents receive adequate nutritional intake
  • Answer phones professionally and follow up on requests
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the front of the house and kitchen
  • Assist in training the wait staff
