Job Description
The Hermitage Healthcare is a locally owned and operated healthcare facility dedicated to providing exceptional care and a supportive environment for its residents. With a strong commitment to exceeding the basic needs of those they serve, The Hermitage Healthcare fosters a culture grounded in compassion, respect, and hard work. As a prominent provider in the healthcare industry, the facility prioritizes the well-being of its residents by maintaining high standards in every aspect of care, including dietary services. Their team is composed of individuals who share a deep-rooted passion for making a positive impact on the lives of others through attentive and personalized care.
The Dietary Aide position at The Hermitage Healthcare is a vital role responsible for ensuring the safe and sanitary preparation and serving of food to residents. This role contributes directly to the health and satisfaction of residents by preparing meals according to specific dietary instructions, assisting in stocking and maintaining food storage areas, and helping maintain cleanliness in food service environments. The position is available as both full-time and part-time with attractive sign-on and retention bonuses—$1,000 for full-time and $500 for part-time—and a competitive pay range of $16.50 to $17.34 per hour. This per diem position runs from 3 pm to 7 pm, offering a flexible work schedule effective for those seeking to contribute meaningfully within specific hours.
Dietary Aides at The Hermitage Healthcare not only perform essential food service tasks but also help create a respectful, resident-centered environment. The role requires a compassionate individual with effective interpersonal skills who can work independently, think critically, and make quick decisions in emergency situations. Participants in this role are encouraged to engage in ongoing quality improvement activities (QAPI) and uphold confidentiality standards, including the protection of residents' sensitive health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Working as a Dietary Aide requires dedication, adaptability, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate within a team-focused environment. The Hermitage Healthcare values dependability and accountability, as well as a genuine care for the well-being of residents. For someone passionate about making a difference in a healthcare setting, this position presents an excellent opportunity to grow within a supportive and rewarding workplace.
Moreover, employees of The Hermitage Healthcare benefit from comprehensive healthcare plans, paid time off for vacation, sick, and holidays, as well as additional perks including life assistance programs and discounts on home and auto insurance, Verizon wireless plans, and local entertainment options such as Six Flags. The facility fosters an atmosphere where employees are motivated to thrive while delivering top-notch service to residents. If you are looking for a meaningful career that values compassion, teamwork, and professionalism, The Hermitage Healthcare invites you to become part of their dedicated team.
