The position is full-time and offers a pay rate of $14.00 per hour. As a Server, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of the senior residents by providing attentive and courteous meal service in the dining room area. You will be responsible for serving meals according to proper etiquette, handling individual meal requests, preparing the dining area before and after service, and maintaining supplies such as utensils, cups, and glasses. Part of your duties will also include helping maintain the juice bar, coffee, and iced tea stations, ensuring residents have access to refreshments throughout their meals. This role is integral in supporting Wallick’s mission to promote independence, quality of life, and community connection among its residents.\n\nThe ideal candidate will bring previous waiter experience, strong communication skills for engaging effectively with both residents and coworkers, and basic math abilities to handle any related tasks. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous waiter experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate in writing and verbally with co-workers and residents
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources
  • Ability to apply basic math skills

Job Duties

  • Serves meals to residents in the dining room following table etiquette
  • Handles meal requests of a resident during meal service
  • Completes setup and cleaning of the dining room before and after each meal service
  • Helps to maintain the juice bar, coffee, and iced tea available to residents
  • Maintains a supply of proper utensils, cups, glasses, etc. for use by the residents
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Responsible for grab and go and stocking as necessary
