With a commitment to upholding high standards in healthcare, they strive to maintain a supportive team-oriented atmosphere that benefits both residents and employees alike. The company believes that working in healthcare is more than just a job—it is a calling that requires dedication, empathy, and a strong work ethic. The Hermitage understands the importance of a clean, safe, and efficient food service operation, recognizing its vital role in the overall health and satisfaction of residents.

The current opening is for a Dietary Aide position, available on a per diem basis from 3pm to 7pm, with full-time and part-time opportunities also available. The Dietary Aide will be responsible for various tasks related to the preparation and serving of food, as well as cleaning and maintaining food service areas, equipment, and utensils. This role is essential in ensuring that food is handled safely and served efficiently to residents according to specific dietary instructions and orders. The position offers competitive incentives including a $1,000 sign-on and retention bonus for full-time employees and a $500 sign-on and retention bonus for part-time employees, reflecting the company's recognition of the importance of retaining skilled and compassionate team members.

The role of Dietary Aide requires strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset. The successful candidate will deliver food, nourishments, and supplies with care and professionalism, contribute to quality improvement initiatives (QAPI), and consistently uphold confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to ensure respectful interactions with co-workers, residents, and their families. The Dietary Aide must be prepared to respond swiftly and decisively in emergency situations, emphasizing the importance of responsibility and attentiveness in this role.

This opportunity with The Hermitage Healthcare is ideal for individuals passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of others through compassionate service and careful attention to detail in the dietary department.
