This opportunity is for a Dietary Aide position within the culinary team at Cottage Grove Place. This role is hospitality-focused and involves hands-on serving functions that contribute to the community’s dining experience. The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving meals in the main dining room, particularly dinner to residents who choose to dine in Commons East. The role is integral to maintaining high standards of sanitation, compliance with dietary restrictions, and effective teamwork to ensure that meal services run smoothly and residents receive exceptional care. In addition to serving, the Dietary Aide also handles cleaning and washing dishes related to meal service, supporting the overall culinary operations.

Job Requirements
- Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school
- Experience in food service preferred
- Experience with senior care preferred
- Ability to follow dietary restrictions and sanitation guidelines
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Job Duties
- Serve dinner to the residents who choose to dine in the Commons East main dining room
- Bus and wash all dishes related to the evening meal service
- Complete job tasks as assigned following sanitation standards and OBRA guidelines
- Participate in on-the-job training and complete daily expectations for meal prep and supply management
- Understand and comply with essential dietary restrictions as advised through physician's orders
