Job Description
Next Step Healthcare is a locally owned and operated healthcare provider that prioritizes compassionate, resident-centered care in every aspect of its operations. With a strong commitment to going beyond mere compliance, Next Step Healthcare focuses on creating a nurturing environment where residents feel safe, respected, and truly cared for. Known for its dedication to high standards and quality, the company operates multiple healthcare facilities designed to meet the unique needs of communities while fostering a team-oriented culture among its employees. The organization's core philosophy reflects genuine compassion, accountability, and a drive to improve the well-being of all residents and staff members alike.
We are currently seeking a Dietary Aide to join the team at Westborough Healthcare, one of Next Step Healthcare's trusted facilities. This is a vital role geared toward individuals who are not only hardworking but also share the mission of enhancing the lives of residents through quality food service. The Dietary Aide is responsible for various key tasks including the safe and sanitary handling of food, preparation of resident trays according to specific orders, assisting in stocking food storage areas and refrigerators, and delivering food and supplies where needed throughout the facility. This role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to health and safety standards to ensure the well-being of all residents.
In addition to hands-on food preparation and service activities, the Dietary Aide actively contributes to maintaining a respectful and team-oriented environment within the facility. This includes collaborating with co-workers and responding to the needs of residents and their families, participating in quality improvement initiatives (QAPI), and upholding confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently while exhibiting compassion and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with attractive sign-on and retention bonuses. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package, making this an excellent opportunity for those passionate about healthcare and food service to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
