We are currently seeking a hospitality-focused Dietary Aide to join our compassionate team on a full-time basis. This role is vital in ensuring that our health center residents receive their therapeutic diet trays accurately and with care, supporting their dietary needs as prescribed. The Dietary Aide will play a significant role in preparing, serving, and maintaining the quality of meals within the health center, contributing to the overall health and satisfaction of the residents. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
  • previous experience in nursing home food service preferred
  • ability to plan and organize work
  • set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards
  • background screening through AHCA

Job Duties

  • Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required
  • serves meals in the health center
  • sets up tables in the health center dining room and breaks down same after meal
  • transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center
  • maintains station equipment and work area in safe and sanitary condition
