Currently, Baywood Court is seeking a full-time Diet Aide to join its dedicated team, working Fridays through Tuesdays from 10:45 am to 7:15 pm. This role is vital in ensuring that residents receive proper nutritional support and are served meals in a timely and professional manner. The position requires availability for weekends and holidays, reflecting the 24/7 nature of the community. With a competitive hourly pay of $20.28, the Diet Aide will perform essential duties such as setting up tray lines for meal service, serving residents in both Assisted Living and Health Center areas, and following therapeutic diet guidelines. Safety and quality in food service are central to this role, requiring attention to dietary restrictions and preferences of residents.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in dietary or food service preferred
- Ability to work full-time Fridays through Tuesdays from 10:45 am to 7:15 pm
- Must be available for weekends and holidays
- Must pass drug screening
- Must pass physical exam including TB skin test
- Must pass criminal background check including FBI and Department of Justice clearance
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene standards
- Must obtain CPR certification within 90 days if not already certified
Job Qualifications
- Ability to read, speak and write the English language
- Must be able to communicate effectively and follow oral and written instructions
- Must process basic mathematical skills
- Ability to understand measurements and conversions
- Must be able to stand and walk throughout the workday
- CPR Certified or obtain CPR certification within 90-days of hire date
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
- Must complete employment application online
Job Duties
- Gather menus and all necessary supplies to properly set up tray line for meal service
- Serve Assisted Living and Health Center residents
- Ability to read resident menus without error, distribute appropriate condiments, drinks and menu selections
- Serve hot food hot, and cold food cold
- Assemble and deliver trays in accordance with therapeutic diet guidelines to appropriate areas within the Health Center and/or Assisted Living
- Provide table service to all residents in the Health Center and/or Assisted Living Dining Room
- Replenish and restock all paper goods, condiments, milks, juices, dishes, linens and all other supplies as needed for meal service
