The work schedule is Wednesday through Saturday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, providing employees with a beneficial four-day workweek. Additionally, shift premiums are offered, with $2.00 per hour extra for second shift and $3.00 per hour extra for third shift work.

  • ability to maintain driver qualification file including MVR check, DOT physical, safety performance history records
  • willingness to work the required schedule and at the specific location
  • ability to pass background screening, drug screen, and physical exam as required by DOT
  • ability to travel locally for training
  • ability to work safely and attentively as a safety-sensitive employee
  • physical capability to handle job duties including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
  • using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
  • doing preventative maintenance repairs such as replacing or rotating tires and completing vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on gas and diesel engine vehicles
  • partnering with your manager to learn new skills using Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching
  • working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
