The role includes comprehensive training, including ASE certification requirements within the first 90 days, hands-on coaching from master technicians, and access to continuous technology updates. Shift differentials provide additional compensation for 2nd and 3rd shifts, as well as weekend work, reinforcing the company’s recognition of the importance of flexible scheduling and rewarding dedication.

Technicians are expected to manage a range of tasks from basic diagnostics, tire replacement, lubrication, and cooling system maintenance, to electrical repairs. Collaboration with supervisors and peers is fundamental, fostering a team-oriented workplace. The position offers a competitive starting wage of $29 per hour, with added shift premiums and career stability. Penske’s benefits package includes paid time off and other excellent employee support systems, making this role not just a job but a career path with ample growth potential within a well-established transportation leader.

If you are mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and eager to join a company that invests in your growth and professional development, the Technician position at Penske Truck Leasing in Honolulu, HI provides a rewarding opportunity.
