The Technician Level II - III position at KAG is a vital role within the organization, requiring skilled Diesel Mechanics to perform general property and vehicle maintenance and repair duties safely and accurately in and around shop operations. This role is designed for individuals with experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly focusing on Class 5 to 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailer inspection. The position operates Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, providing a consistent work schedule that supports work-life balance.
Compensation for this role ranges from $18 to $36 per hour, with guaranteed increases tied to the completion of training programs and verified prior experience. Job Requirements
- valid driver's license
- air brake certification or 1+ year of verifiable experience and ability to obtain
- motor vehicle air conditioning repair certification or ability to obtain
- commercial motor vehicle inspector with 3 years experience or 1 year experience and ability to obtain
- ability to safely perform maintenance and repair duties in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- 1 - 5 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and repair
- knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
- ability to inspect Class 5 to 8 commercial vehicles and tank trailers
- capability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
- proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel mechanics issues
Job Duties
