Job Requirements

Ability to speak, read and write English
Successful completion of special courses in institutional food preparation highly desirable
Ability to work early morning shifts, evenings, holidays, and weekends
Willingness to undergo Sheriff’s Office background clearance including polygraph and drug tests
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies
Ability to work standing for long periods in high temperature conditions
Willingness to work all shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Two years of recent experience in preparation and cooking of large-scale institutional or commercial food services
Experience working on or leading a team
Strong communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
Ability to communicate via phone and computer
Food Handler’s Certification or Food Manager’s Certification
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions
