Serving a diverse client base, Master's Transportation places great emphasis on maintaining their vehicle fleet in optimal condition, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness at all times. As a company committed to adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations, Master's Transportation fosters an inclusive and respectful work environment that values equal employment opportunities and promotes diversity and fairness in all employment practices.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the role operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the work location varying within the metropolitan area. This role uniquely blends responsibilities associated with both detailing and porting duties, ensuring that vehicles not only look their best but also are safely moved, parked, and managed on the lot.

The Detailer/Porter is responsible for cleaning vehicles according to company standards or client specifications, including performing detail inspections, washing, buffing, waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors. Equally important is the Porter CDL driver role, which demands high accountability for the safe and efficient handling of vehicles, including transporting buses, vans, and other company vehicles to and from various locations while maintaining an organized and presentable parking lot.

This role requires an individual who demonstrates a high sense of responsibility, safety awareness, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and committed to process improvement, ensuring all company property under their care is secure and well-maintained. Candidates must be able to pass pre-employment drug testing and participate in ongoing safety screenings as part of the company’s commitment to a safe work environment. The role includes essential functions such as organizing the parking lot, radio communication using proper etiquette, conducting check-out and return inspections on rental vehicles, noting damages, fueling vehicles, and assisting with porter duties as needed.

Working conditions include both office and outdoor environments, with the physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and good hearing and communication abilities. A valid state driver’s license with a good driving record is required, along with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and DOT medical certification. Prior detailing experience is preferred but not mandatory for consideration.

Master's Transportation values employees who show technical aptitude, a strong sense of urgency, good judgment, and a commitment to self-development. The company dedicates itself to providing an environment free from harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, supporting all employees fairly and equally across a broad spectrum of protections and rights.
