This full-time management position offers an hourly wage range of $32.69 to $43.75 with eligibility for bonuses, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding performance and dedication. In this role, candidates will partner closely with the property sales team and above-property sales channels to secure group business for the hotel. They will collaborate with key department heads to plan and execute tailored site inspection experiences aimed at driving group sales and maximizing revenue opportunities. The Sales Manager will play a vital role in up-selling products and services, focusing on closing site inspection sales and supporting overall revenue goal achievement. Responsibilities include engaging with both leisure and group planners to promote various hotel facilities such as Spa, Golf, and Restaurants. This role also encompasses organizing customer events, coordinating Familiarization Tours, and building lasting relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and customer-focused professional who understands local market dynamics, competitor strengths, and economic trends to position the hotel competitively. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in sales and marketing or related field
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 2 years experience in sales and marketing or related field
  • Ability to execute site inspections and coordinated promotional activities
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work full time at the hotel location
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years experience in sales and marketing or related field
  • Large group sales experience considered a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activity
  • Proficiency in customer service standards and brand initiatives

Job Duties

  • Works with sales team and key department heads to execute curated site inspections
  • Pulls through group business and drives sales team revenue goal attainment
  • Conducts site inspections for Sales Managers based on hotel needs
  • Partners with sales teams to identify new group/catering business
  • Up-sells products and services to close sales
  • Engages in proactive selling of hotel facilities to leisure and group planners
  • Coordinates and plans Familiarization Tours and in-market customer events
