This brand prides itself on breaking conventional norms and creating spaces where guests feel both welcomed and empowered.

The current vacancy is for a Sales Manager position located in Hollywood, California, operating at 6250 Hollywood Blvd. The role is full-time and offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $36.06 to $48.08, with eligibility for bonuses. The position is on-site to leverage direct interactions essential for managing relationships and enhancing sales channels effectively.

The Sales Manager serves as a critical partner to the property sales team and broader sales channels beyond the property to secure group business, which is pivotal in driving the hotel’s revenue objectives. This role is responsible for the orchestration and execution of curated site inspection experiences, in collaboration with key department heads. Bringing sales opportunities to closure through up-selling and proactive client engagement is a central focus of the position. The incumbent will embody the brand's service strategy, ensuring every interaction promotes customer loyalty and service excellence.

This role requires a strategic and proactive individual capable of pulling through group business by closely partnering with internal sales teams and external partners, including General Sales Offices (GSO) and US Account Sales teams. The Sales Manager will also be entrusted with conducting personalized site inspections, understanding market competition, and offering expert local destination knowledge to captivate clients. Further duties include coordinating familiarization tours, managing client relationships during site visits, and supporting promotional efforts to elevate group sales.

The candidate is expected to have a robust understanding of the hospitality market landscape, including competition analysis, economic trends, and seasonality. This knowledge enables the Sales Manager to tailor selling strategies effectively and adjust pricing guidelines to maximize revenue while controlling costs.

An emphasis on building and maintaining successful, long-term relationships with new and existing customers is paramount. The role involves engaging with walk-in clients, qualifying leads, acting as a personal concierge during site visits, and coordinating special requests to exceed client expectations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to meeting these objectives and contributing to a positive customer experience that aligns with Marriott’s brand standards.

Marriott International fosters an inclusive workplace valuing diversity, talents, and experiences, offering an environment conducive to career development. Joining W Hotels means becoming part of a global team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest service and innovating in the luxury hospitality space.
