As part of the Marriott International family, this property benefits from the global strength, trusted reputation, and extensive training resources of one of the world’s leading hospitality companies. Marriott International is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment where associates can thrive professionally and personally. The hotel features modern meeting spaces, fine dining options, leisure facilities such as a spa and golf amenities, and is situated in a prime location to serve both local and visiting guests.

This particular role is a full-time management position within the Sales and Marketing category at Seattle Marriott Bellevue. The position operates on-site, is not remote, and offers a competitive hourly pay range between $36.06 and $48.08, with eligibility for bonuses. The sales management role is pivotal in partnering with the Sales Office to secure group bookings, ensuring that business is managed effectively and executed with quality service delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating site inspections and visits for sales managers working off-property, actively up-selling to maximize revenue opportunities, and maintaining customer loyalty by implementing Marriott’s brand service strategy throughout the sales process.

The successful candidate will play an essential role in driving group event bookings and collaboration with various sales teams, such as Area Sales and Enterprise Sales, to identify new group and catering business. The role requires proactive selling of the hotel’s wide range of facilities—spa, golf, restaurants—not only to group planners but also to leisure guests. Additionally, the candidate will be tasked with planning special events like Familiarization Tours, managing client relationships through personalized concierge services during events, and ensuring a seamless business turnover for event management. The role is intricately linked with community engagement and collaboration with both internal departments and external clients to support Marriott’s reputation for exceptional service excellence.

Marriott International stands as a global leader in hospitality, offering a work culture that fosters employee growth, values diversity, and prioritizes well-being. Their signature service brands, such as JW Marriott, bring luxury and distinctive experiences to guests, supported by associates who are innovative, genuine, and committed. The company emphasizes training and development programs, community involvement, and a holistic approach to employee engagement. As part of Marriott International, Seattle Marriott Bellevue offers its associates access to comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans, along with paid time off, parental leave, and educational assistance, all of which contribute to a rewarding career path within the hospitality industry.

By joining the sales management team at Seattle Marriott Bellevue, candidates engage in a challenging and fulfilling role that blends sales expertise, customer service, operational coordination, and strategic business development in a luxury hotel environment. This role not only drives revenue growth but also ensures the holistic guest experience that Marriott is renowned for. It is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality, skilled in group sales, and dedicated to excellence in service delivery.
