We are currently seeking a Destination Experience Coordinator, a key role responsible for crafting and coordinating exclusive, customized destination journeys for our distinguished residents. This full-time position demands an exceptional communicator with warmth, professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence. The ideal candidate is adept at collaborating across numerous departments and working comfortably with one of the world's most discerning ultra-high-net-worth clientele.
The Destination Experience Coordinator is entrusted with developing and managing the Design Your Own Journeys (DYOJs) program, ensuring each multi-day experience aligns seamlessly with resident preferences, operational needs, budget considerations, and precise service standards. This role involves researching new destinations, exploring innovative programming opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with a diverse range of international vendors, guides, venues, and service providers. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and project management skills to oversee complex itineraries, ensure precise operational coordination, and handle all aspects of vendor contracting, pricing, and service delivery administration.
In addition to planning unique luxury travel experiences, the role supports the administration and delivery of Overland Journeys and related destination events. This includes detailed booking management, logistics coordination, and effective communication with residents, guests, and onboard teams. The position requires an individual who excels at detailed communication, vendor management, and resident preference tracking to continuously personalize future experiences and resolve inquiries promptly and professionally.
The role demands flexibility, resilience, creativity, and cultural awareness, as this position operates across multiple international time zones and diverse cultural contexts. Occasional travel to support destination events and onboard operations is an essential part of the job.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism hospitality event management or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury travel hospitality or bespoke guest services
- Minimum 3 years of shipboard cruise operations experience preferably in shore excursions or destination services
- Proven experience managing international vendors local operators pricing contracts and service expectations
- Ability to coordinate complex travel arrangements and multi component itineraries
- Willingness and ability to travel to the Ship and work across multiple time zones
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Capacity to work collaboratively across departments
- High emotional intelligence and discretion
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and culturally diverse environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism hospitality event management or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in luxury travel hospitality or bespoke guest services
- 3+ years of shipboard cruise operations experience preferably in shore excursions or destination services
- Experience managing international vendors local operators pricing contracts and service expectations
- Experience coordinating complex travel arrangements multi component itineraries or luxury destination experiences preferred
- Ability to travel to the Ship and occasional work across multiple time zones
Job Duties
- Develop and coordinate Design Your Own Journeys within established company guidelines creating customized multi day destination experiences that align with Resident preferences operational requirements budget parameters and service standards
- Research and develop new destination experiences vendors guides venues and programming opportunities that align with The World’s service standards and enhance the Resident experience
- Liaise with operators guides drivers restaurants hotels venues event planners and local partners to confirm availability pricing inclusions timing and service standards
- Prepare proposals confirmations itineraries cost details vendor notes event details manifests including passport dietary medical and preference data and operational information for Residents onboard teams and internal departments
- Assist with vendor contracting pricing administration and service agreements in accordance with company policies and operational requirements
- Support the administration and delivery of Overland Journeys and destination experiences including booking management tracking and documentation logistics coordination manifest preparation pricing deposits invoicing payment administration Resident and Guest communications and ensuring all applicable charges are accurately processed to onboard accounts
- Prepare review and proofread destination related communications itineraries promotional materials and supporting documentation
- Follow up on Resident and Guest inquiries concerns and service recovery matters related to destination experiences ensuring timely resolution and communication
- Maintain accurate records of Resident preferences vendor details pricing special requests waitlists and final confirmations utilizing Resident preference information to personalize future experiences
- Monitor itinerary changes port updates ensuring affected parties are informed promptly
- Support onboard and shoreside teams with waitlists destination related projects special events and operational initiatives as required
- Identify unique local experiences trusted partners venues guides and vendors that align with The World’s service standards
- Travel as required to support Overland Journeys destination events and shipboard operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
