The role of a Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory places you as the friendly and skilled face behind the bakery case, crafting the final touches that make their iconic cheesecakes and desserts truly stand out. Your daily tasks will include glazing strawberries, forming perfect whipped cream dollops, and preparing an array of specialty espresso beverages. Being part of their high-volume, full-service restaurant operation, you play a crucial role in supporting front-of-house activities and delivering consistent quality that enhances guest satisfaction. The position offers steady hours with flexible full-time or part-time scheduling, allowing you to fit the work around your life commitments. Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $18.50 per hour, providing both competitive pay and benefits. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in food service or related field preferred
  • knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation standards
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • excellent communication skills
  • able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, barista, or food service industry experience preferred
  • familiarity with beverage preparation and food handling is a plus
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Plate and finish desserts with accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent presentation
  • operate an espresso machine to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages
  • accurately follow instructions while upholding food safety and food handling standards, with awareness of food allergies
  • label, date, and rotate products following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
  • work with efficiency, speed, and a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
  • maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas
  • complete station setup and breakdown, including stocking and closing tasks
  • support teamwork through clear and effective communication
  • multitask and work well under pressure with a positive attitude
  • deliver exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
