The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is an acclaimed leader in experiential dining, recognized for its culinary innovation and relentless focus on hospitality. Established as a high-volume, full-service restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory has consistently earned a place on FORTUNE Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" list every year since 2014. The company operates over 370 restaurants across the United States and Canada under popular brands including The Cheesecake Factory, North Italia, Flower Child, and several other FRC brands. Internationally, 35 The Cheesecake Factory restaurants operate under licensing agreements. This dynamic organization also oversees a bakery division that runs two facilities producing high-quality cheesecakes and other baked goods, serving both its restaurants and third-party customers. As an equal opportunity employer, The Cheesecake Factory is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace, encouraging candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply, and providing reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory embodies the spirit of excellence and attention to detail that the brand is known for. This position involves being the friendly, skilled face behind the bakery case, adding the finishing touches to the famous cheesecakes and desserts that customers love. Key responsibilities include glazing iconic strawberries, crafting perfectly shaped whipped cream dollops to enhance presentation, and expertly preparing espresso beverages using specialized equipment. Working as part of a dedicated front-of-house team in a busy restaurant environment, the Dessert Finisher/Barista plays a critical role in supporting day-to-day operations. This role demands a strong sense of pride and ownership in delivering consistent, high-quality products that elevate the guest experience and uphold the brand’s reputation.
The position offers steady hours with flexible scheduling options suitable for both full-time and part-time engagement, providing a balance between work and personal life. Employees benefit from faster pay options, allowing access to up to 50% of earned wages as early as the next day, along with 50% off shift meals and a 25% discount when dining with friends and family. Comprehensive benefits include paid vacation and sick time, and medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage options with medical coverage available starting at an affordable rate. Additional support is provided through virtual care and no-cost online mental health services to promote overall well-being.
The Cheesecake Factory also invests heavily in personal and professional growth, offering world-class training programs and opportunities for career advancement, with more than half of management positions filled through internal promotion. Employees can take advantage of no-cost GED or Associate Degree programs, as well as a range of perks such as discounts on cell phone plans, gym memberships, movie tickets, and theme park admissions. The company recognizes and appreciates employee contributions through awards and supports employees in times of need with the HELP Fund, an emergency lifeline program. The Dessert Finisher/Barista role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working collaboratively in a team, and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest hospitality. The position carries a competitive hourly wage range of $16.90 to $18.50, reflecting the level of skill, dedication, and commitment expected for this customer-facing, craft-focused role.
