The organization extends its culinary excellence beyond dining rooms, with a bakery division that produces top-quality cheesecakes and baked goods for its restaurants, international licensees, and third-party customers.
As a Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory, you play an essential role as the friendly face behind their famous bakery case. This position blends artistry and hospitality, where you put the finishing touches on iconic cheesecakes and desserts. Your role involves glazing the strawberries, crafting perfect dollops of whipped cream that impress guests, and preparing delicious specialty coffee and espresso beverages with precision. Working in a high-volume, full-service environment, you support the front-of-house operations, ensuring every dessert and drink is not only consistent in quality but also contributes to an elevated guest experience.
This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $11.50 to $15.75 per hour and provides opportunities for full-time or part-time schedules that accommodate your lifestyle. The company also offers no-cost GED or associate degree programs, enhancing your career path in hospitality or beyond.
The work environment emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, organization, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Employees are encouraged to work with a sense of urgency and efficiency while upholding friendly, guest-focused service. Additionally, you will complete station set-up and breakdown, manage product labeling and rotation following FIFO standards, and maintain a clean and sanitary workspace. Multitasking in a fast-paced setting with a positive attitude is crucial to success in this role.
The Cheesecake Factory’s commitment to its employees extends through a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage starting as low as $12 per pay period. Paid vacation and sick time, virtual care, mental health services, and employee discount programs are included to support life both inside and outside of work. The company fosters a strong culture of recognition and appreciation through awards and perks such as cell phone, gym, movie, and theme park discounts. Employees also benefit from hardship emergency assistance programs and opportunities to engage in charitable and community events.
