Job Description

This role is for a Dessert Finisher/Barista, a vital position within the high-volume, full-service restaurant team. The successful candidate will be the friendly and skilled face behind the bakery case, responsible for artfully finishing and plating desserts, including glazing iconic strawberries and crafting perfect dollops of whipped cream. In addition, this role involves operating the espresso machine to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages that delight guests. The Dessert Finisher/Barista supports front-of-house operations by delivering consistent quality and helping uphold the high standards of The Cheesecake Factory's guest experience.
The position offers steady hours with flexible scheduling options for full-time and part-time employment, making it adaptable to different lifestyles. Compensation ranges from $15.50 to $17.50 per hour, accompanied by valuable benefits designed to support personal and professional growth. Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, barista, or food service industry experience preferred
- familiarity with beverage preparation and food handling, a plus
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties
- Plate and finish desserts with accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent presentation
- operate an espresso machine to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages
- accurately follow instructions while upholding food safety and food handling standards, with awareness of food allergies
- label, date, and rotate products following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
- work with efficiency, speed, and a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
- maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas
- complete station setup and breakdown, including stocking and closing tasks
- support teamwork through clear and effective communication
- multitask and work well under pressure with a positive attitude
- deliver exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
