With the operation of 353 restaurants across the United States and Canada, including prominent brands such as The Cheesecake Factory®, North Italia®, and Flower Child®, the company has solidified its place in the foodservice sector. Internationally, it also manages 34 The Cheesecake Factory® restaurants under licensing agreements. Further enhancing its operational excellence, The Cheesecake Factory owns bakery facilities devoted to producing high-quality cheesecakes and other baked goods that serve both its restaurants and third-party customers.
The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista is an essential part of this high-volume, full-service restaurant team. It involves being the friendly and skilled face that guests interact with at the bakery case, ensuring every dessert and beverage meets the brand's high standards of presentation and flavor. This position combines the artistry of dessert finishing—like glazing iconic strawberries and applying perfect whipped cream dollops—with the technical skill of espresso beverage preparation. The Dessert Finisher/Barista not only plays a direct role in customer satisfaction but also supports front-of-house operations by maintaining efficiency and quality. Offering steady hours with flexible scheduling options, this role accommodates both full-time and part-time team members, providing a great balance between work and life commitments. The pay rate ranges from $18.70 to $19.00 per hour, reflecting the importance and responsibility of this position.
Employees in this role benefit from comprehensive training designed to foster personal and professional growth, showcasing the company’s commitment to career advancement. Over half of the managerial staff are promoted from within, highlighting significant growth opportunities. Additional perks include access to no-cost GED or Associate Degree programs, enhanced benefits packages focusing on health and wellness, and a wide variety of employee discounts on meals and other services. The company also emphasizes community engagement, employee recognition, and support during personal hardships through dedicated funds. Being part of The Cheesecake Factory means joining an award-winning, inclusive organization that invests in its people, values teamwork, and upholds a culture centered around memorable guest experiences and operational excellence.
