The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences. Positioned as the friendly face behind the bakery case, this role involves finishing and decorating the company’s famous cheesecakes and desserts with precision and artistry. Responsibilities include glazing iconic strawberries and crafting visually stunning whipped cream dollops that elevate the presentation and appeal of each dessert. Additionally, the Dessert Finisher/Barista will prepare delicious espresso and specialty coffee beverages, playing a key role in supporting front-of-house operations within a high-volume full-service restaurant environment. Candidates will be expected to uphold rigorous food safety and sanitation standards, demonstrating awareness of food allergies and proper product handling with FIFO inventory practices. The fast-paced nature of this position demands strong multitasking abilities, effective communication, paced efficiency with a sense of urgency, and a positive attitude under pressure. Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and twisting
- Previous experience in restaurant, hospitality, barista, or food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Reliable and punctual work habits

Job Duties
- Plate and finish desserts with accuracy, attention to detail, and consistent presentation
- Operate an espresso machine to prepare specialty coffee and espresso beverages
- Accurately follow instructions while upholding food safety and food handling standards, with awareness of food allergies
- Label, date, and rotate products following FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
- Work with efficiency, speed, and a sense of urgency in a fast paced environment
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas
- Complete station setup and breakdown, including stocking and closing tasks
- Support teamwork through clear and effective communication
- Multitask and work well under pressure with a positive attitude
- Deliver exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
