The company also oversees two bakery production facilities that craft quality cheesecakes and various baked products, supplying not only their restaurants but also international licensees and third-party bakery clients. Recognized consistently since 2014 by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For," The Cheesecake Factory fosters a culture of inclusion, diversity, and opportunity, aspiring to create an equitable and welcoming environment for all its employees. They embrace applicants from diverse backgrounds and provide reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities, demonstrating their commitment to equality and respect within the workplace.
The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory is integral to the restaurant's high-volume, full-service environment. As the friendly face behind the beautiful bakery case, this position entails putting the final, artistic touches on the company’s famous cheesecakes and desserts, ensuring guests receive visually stunning treats. The Dessert Finisher/Barista skillfully glazes strawberries with precision, applies perfectly crafted dollops of whipped cream, and operates espresso machines to create delicious specialty coffee and espresso beverages. This role requires a detail-oriented, fast-paced, and efficient individual who prioritizes consistent quality to elevate the guest dining experience.
Offering flexible scheduling with full-time or part-time options, The Cheesecake Factory supports steady hours and work-life balance. Employees can access up to half of their earned wages the next day through a faster pay program, along with receiving 50% off shift meals and a 25% discount when dining with family or friends. Comprehensive benefits include paid vacation and sick time, medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage with medical plans starting at a competitive rate, and virtual care including no-cost online mental health services. Moreover, the company invests heavily in employee growth with world-class training, career advancement opportunities, and even no-cost GED or associate degree programs.
This role requires adherence to food safety and handling standards, careful product rotation using FIFO practices, and maintenance of sanitation standards at all times. The Dessert Finisher/Barista will complete station setups and break downs, stock supplies, and support their team through effective communication and multitasking. They will work with a positive attitude, quick efficiency, and a passion for hospitality, contributing actively to a positive workplace culture. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. The company prioritizes dependable, punctual, dedicated team members who are adaptable and well-suited for a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Working at The Cheesecake Factory means joining an award-winning team committed to excellence in hospitality and food quality. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic role with growth potential, meaningful benefits, and a chance to be part of a celebrated brand recognized for its people-first philosophy and exceptional workplace environment.
