The Cheesecake Factory offers an expansive menu featuring delicious dishes and iconic cheesecakes, crafted with passion and commitment to quality. Additionally, the company manages a bakery division with facilities that produce high-quality baked goods not only for their restaurants but also for international licensees and third-party customers. Recognized consistently by FORTUNE Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" since 2014, The Cheesecake Factory is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging work environment. They embrace diversity and provide reasonable accommodations to applicants with disabilities, affirming their commitment to equal opportunity employment.
The role of Dessert Finisher/Barista at The Cheesecake Factory places you at the heart of the customer experience, where you contribute to delivering memorable and delightful moments. As the friendly face behind the bakery case, you will skillfully finish desserts such as their famous cheesecakes, applying glazes to strawberries and creating perfect whipped cream embellishments that delight guests visually and tastefully. This role also involves preparing specialty espresso drinks, adding a coffeehouse element to the dining experience. Being part of a high-volume, full-service restaurant team, you will support front-of-house operations with pride and ownership, ensuring consistently high quality and presentation standards. This position offers steady hours with flexible scheduling for both full-time and part-time team members, competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $18.50, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
This role goes beyond just food preparation; it embodies the spirit of hospitality by delivering excellent service, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and working collaboratively within a team. You'll be responsible for labeling and rotating products using FIFO practices, maintaining organized and clean workstations, and efficiently completing station setup and breakdown duties. The job demands multitasking with speed and accuracy while upholding a positive attitude and exceptional communication skills. Career growth is supported through robust training programs and advancement opportunities, with many managerial positions filled through internal promotion. Benefits include paid vacation, medical and dental insurance, mental health resources, and discounts on meals and entertainment. By joining The Cheesecake Factory, you become part of a celebrated brand committed to quality, employee well-being, and community involvement.
