Moving beyond just restaurants, The Cheesecake Factory's bakery division runs two production facilities dedicated to crafting high-quality cheesecakes and baked goods, supporting their restaurants, international partners, and third-party bakery customers.
The Dessert Finisher/Barista role at The Cheesecake Factory is an essential part of its high-volume, full-service restaurant team. This position offers a unique blend of culinary artistry and customer service, where the candidate becomes the friendly face behind the beautifully arranged bakery case, adding the finishing touches that make the desserts irresistible. Key responsibilities include glazing iconic strawberries, creating exquisite whipped cream dollops, and expertly preparing espresso beverages, contributing directly to an elevated guest experience. This role serves beyond just food preparation as it supports front-of-house operations, emphasizing pride and ownership in quality and presentation.
The company offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $16.00 to $20.00. It promotes steady hours and a flexible working schedule, accommodating both full-time and part-time employees to create a work-life balance that suits individual needs. Employees have the advantage of accessing up to half of their earned wages by the next day, with exclusive meal discounts including 50% off shift meals and 25% off dining with friends and family.
Employees at The Cheesecake Factory benefit from a wide array of supportive benefits, such as paid vacation and sick time, comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage with medical plans starting as low as $12 per pay period, as well as virtual care and free online mental health services. The company emphasizes personal and professional growth by providing world-class training, career advancement opportunities with a strong promotion-from-within culture, and no-cost GED or associate degree programs.
Workplace culture is further enriched with special perks and discounts on everyday services like cell phones, gyms, movies, and theme parks. Employees are recognized and appreciated through awards, and in times of need, the HELP Fund offers emergency financial support. Community engagement is encouraged through charity events and team participation, creating a sense of belonging and purpose.
The Cheesecake Factory is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment for all prospective employees. They welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences and provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Joining this award-winning company means becoming part of a passionate team focused on hospitality, quality, and culinary excellence.
