The Tenants and Housing Collaborative (THC) is a well-established organization dedicated to providing supportive housing and comprehensive services for tenants across multiple housing sites. This full-time position reports directly to the management team and plays a pivotal role in hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising Desk Clerks to maintain high standards of service and operational efficiency. The incumbent serves as a key liaison between THC and external agencies, facilitating recruitment efforts and working closely with Human Resources.\n\nThis position involves comprehensive responsibilities encompassing leadership and management of the Desk Clerk workforce, including new hire orientation, team development, performance evaluations, and disciplinary procedures. The role also requires ensuring consistent scheduling and coverage across all sites, managing overtime surveys in collaboration with site managers, and maintaining up-to-date documentation to support staffing operations.\n\nA successful candidate will demonstrate excellent administrative skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication ability, and a solid background in hospitality, customer service, or related fields. The ideal Desk Clerk Program Manager will have prior experience managing staff programs and coordinating multiple operational facets simultaneously, ensuring seamless support to housing site operations. Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hospitality, customer service, administrative, Desk Clerk or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in program management, training, or supervising administrative or Desk Clerk staff
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to produce and analyze reports and write business correspondence
- Strong communication skills to interact with a broad range of people
- Ability to read, understand, and apply manuals, policies, technical procedures, and instructions

Job Duties
- Oversee the Desk Clerk program in accordance with THC policies and directives
- Hire, train, orient, and develop Desk Clerk staff including team building and scheduling
- Supervise and schedule Floating and On-Call Desk Clerks' daily activities
- Collaborate on performance evaluations and disciplinary action for Desk Clerk staff
- Maintain Desk Clerk schedules and assist Supportive Housing Managers with coverage needs
- Conduct quarterly overtime surveys and maintain updated records
- Coordinate recruitment, phone screens, and interviews in partnership with Human Resources
- Liaise with temporary staffing agencies for Desk Clerk coverage at all sites
