The position available is for a Desk Clerk NF1 located at Camp Pendleton, California. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and operational support within MCCS facilities. The Desk Clerk will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, including accepting reservations, guest registration, room assignment, issuing keys, and handling all financial transactions related to guest accounts. The role demands attentiveness and professionalism in interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that every visitor receives a warm welcome and efficient service.
Beyond front desk duties, the Desk Clerk may handle a change fund, operate the telephone system, relay messages, sort and distribute mail, and report maintenance issues promptly to supervisors. This position might also involve selling retail merchandise, renting video equipment, and providing information about local activities and tourist attractions.
