Job Description

Ann Sacks is a distinguished luxury brand recognized for its unparalleled craftsmanship and innovative designs in tile and stone products. Established over four decades ago, the company has earned a prestigious reputation for sourcing the finest materials from around the world and curating an extensive collection that epitomizes luxury and sophistication. Starting from its roots in Portland, Oregon, Ann Sacks has evolved from a specialized tile supplier to a comprehensive provider of slabs, stone furniture, fireplaces, baths, and home accessories. Today, with 21 showrooms across North America, it serves as a premier resource for designers and homeowners seeking to infuse their spaces with unique and elegant expressions of style. The company's commitment to quality, artistry, and exceptional client service continues to drive its success and growth within the luxury interiors market.

The Design Sales Consultant (DSC) role at Ann Sacks is integral to the brand's continued prominence and success in the luxury interiors industry. DSCs serve as the critical link between Ann Sacks’ exquisite product offerings and top-tier designers, architects, and discerning clients. This role is designed for professionals who are passionate about design and possess exceptional interpersonal and business development skills. DSCs engage with clients through a variety of channels - including in-showroom consultations, at client design studios, and virtual presentations - to inspire transformative design solutions with Ann Sacks’ world-class products. Performance in this role is measured by sales achievements, client satisfaction, and the overall advancement of the brand's reputation.

The ideal candidate for the Design Sales Consultant position will have a minimum of two years' sales experience, preferably within luxury retail or the interior and architectural design sectors. While education in interior design, business management, or marketing is advantageous, candidates from diverse educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply, emphasizing the company’s inclusive approach. DSCs will leverage their expertise and deep product knowledge to nurture existing client relationships and actively develop new business opportunities. This includes conducting sales presentations, leading educational sessions such as lunch and learns, and organizing marketing events. Advanced proficiency in using digital tools, including CRM software like Salesforce and Microsoft Office, is essential for managing client relationships and sales pipelines effectively.

The role demands a blend of creativity, curiosity, and a passion for design, architecture, art, or fashion, underpinning the consultant’s ability to connect with clients and drive sales success. Organizational skills, clear communication, and exemplary customer service are critical for maintaining an inviting showroom environment and providing clients with outstanding experiences. Physically, the position involves standing, walking, and lifting samples regularly in a showroom setting.

Ann Sacks offers a competitive compensation package starting with a base salary of $65,000 plus commission, alongside immediate eligibility for company benefits from day one, reflecting the brand's commitment to its employees' wellbeing and professional growth. Working onsite at the Seattle, WA showroom, the DSC joins a team dedicated to innovation, luxury, and client satisfaction under the larger Kohler Co. umbrella, which values diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment.
