The role at Cohera involves an independent leadership position, managing the entire proposal process from initial concept through delivery. This includes ideation, creative writing, pricing, formatting, vendor communication, and coordination with sales and strategic teams. Job Requirements

Minimum six years work experience
Minimum three years in hospitality
One year experience in proposal writing, event design, creative marketing, or destination management
Proficiency in client relations and budget management
Strong pricing and formatting skills
Advanced writing and storytelling skills
Excellent communication abilities
Knowledge of local destinations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Canva
Ability to work flexible hours including late nights and weekends
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
Must be ambulatory and able to move between buildings
Ability to perform administrative and professional work
Willingness to attend networking and industry events
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and workload with minimal oversight.

Job Qualifications

Minimum of six years work experience with at least three years in hospitality
At least one year experience in proposal writing, event design, creative marketing, or destination management
Proficiency in client relations, detailed budget management, event design, contract management, and vendor relations
Strong pricing, formatting, and creative storytelling abilities
Advanced writing and creative storytelling skills
Ability to develop customized, client-specific content
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of local destination offerings including restaurants, clubs, festivals, tours, and venues
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva
Comfortable using computers, phones, copiers, smart phones, tablets, and other office equipment.

Job Duties

Independently lead the full proposal process from concept to delivery for custom programs
Own all aspects of proposal development including ideation, narrative writing, pricing, formatting, and presentation delivery
Accurately scope and price all program components such as décor, entertainment, venues, staffing, transportation, and activities
Conduct vendor outreach to confirm availability and collect service information
Maintain communication with Sales and Strategic teams throughout the pre-sale phase including discovery calls, meetings, site visits, and presentations
Coordinate site inspections and manage vendor bookings and payments
Manage workload and responsibilities to meet deadlines and stakeholder expectations
Attend turnover meetings with Event Management and Sales teams to ensure seamless handoffs
Research and communicate with vendors to obtain cost-effective quotes
Maintain an organized tariff of services for future use
Support ECS inventory maintenance
Build and sustain strong vendor relationships
Align proposal content with client expectations and pricing parameters
Assist with sales-related activations and familiarization tours
Contribute destination-specific content for marketing materials
Maintain accuracy in pricing, margins, timelines, and vendor documentation
Manage internal paperwork including invoices, expense submissions, and reconciliation
Participate in client meetings and networking events
Act creatively and flexibly while maintaining honesty and client satisfaction focus.
