As a wholly owned subsidiary through Iron EagleX (IEX), GDIT offers clients a unique blend of small-team agility and global scale, enabling organizations to operate smarter, faster, and more securely in dynamic environments.
The role of Project/Task Senior Manager offers an exciting opportunity to work with the Department of War and Intelligence Community in Tampa, FL, supporting the Intelligence Data Science Team (IDST) Program at the U.S. Special Operations Command Headquarters. This position is critical in delivering mission-essential capabilities across multiple security classification enclaves, enabling intelligence analysts to efficiently access, integrate, and exploit large datasets from commercial, public, and classified sources. The Senior Manager will leverage Agile methodology, technical program management expertise, and exceptional coordination skills to ensure seamless program operations that align with strategic goals.
As a Project/Task Senior Manager at GDIT, you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day operations of engineering and mission support teams, maintaining risk and issue tracking, and supporting financial forecasting and contract management. This position demands a sophisticated understanding of program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint along with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 applications. The role also involves full lifecycle support for onboarding new hires, maintaining audit-ready program documentation, facilitating Agile ceremonies, and serving as a liaison between government leadership and program stakeholders.
This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a current Department of War Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship. The salary range for this position is competitive, typically between $131,750 and $178,250, depending on experience and location. GDIT prides itself on its culture of innovation, military-friendly environment, and commitment to career growth, offering employees benefits such as comprehensive health and wellness plans, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
Joining GDIT means becoming part of a company driven by mission, dedicated to national security, and focused on the professional development of its people. The Project/Task Senior Manager position is ideal for experienced technical program managers who thrive in high-stakes government environments and are passionate about contributing to the nation's defense mission while advancing their careers in a supportive and dynamic workplace.
