Job Requirements

  • Be of legal age to sell or serve alcohol
  • Complete required state or local training and certification for alcohol service
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs
  • Proficient in PC platforms including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
  • Ability to read, understand and apply company manuals and training materials
  • Comply with health department and food safety regulations
  • Ability to supervise employees and manage scheduling
  • Maintain excellent personal hygiene and dress code
  • Complete Regal responsible beverage server training
  • Obtain ServSafe Certification and food handlers card as required
  • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing
  • Physically capable to perform tasks such as climbing, balancing, kneeling, and lifting
  • Completed or in progress management certification program

Job Qualifications

  • Degree in business or equivalent
  • Two years management or supervisory experience in restaurant or VIP/luxury theatre concept
  • Experience in a high volume hospitality environment
  • Completion or progress in management certification program
  • SDS training
  • Food handlers card where applicable
  • ServSafe Food Manager Certification
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency with PC platforms and office programs
  • Ability to perform physical demands of the role
  • Ability to manage staff and resolve issues effectively
  • Commitment to upholding company policies and standards

Job Duties

  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • Must be of legal age to sell and or serve alcohol per state and or local laws
  • Uphold and administer all Regal policies and brand standards
  • Ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Monitor risk management including employee and guest safety, loss prevention, proper food and alcohol handling, emergency situations, accident reporting
  • Comply with all food safety rules, laws, and Health Department regulations
  • Hiring, training, developing, mentoring, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and terminating employees
  • Train staff in various positions and cross-train as needed
  • Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current
  • Maintain projection and sound technology
  • Ensure facilities are cleaned and maintained to Regal standards
  • Direct kitchen and bar maintenance and sanitation programs
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and repairs
  • Optimize profits by maintaining strict cost and inventory controls
  • Create staff schedules balancing demand and labor costs
  • Conduct daily theatre inspections and kitchen logs
  • Ensure food and beverages meet Regal's standards
  • Manage guest relations, marketing, and promotions
  • Respond to guest questions and complaints
  • Count, deposit, and reconcile all receipts
  • Measure and assemble ingredients
  • Expedite food orders
  • Maintain compliance with dress code and hygiene standards
  • Handle lost and found items in accordance with policy
  • Abide by required breaks and meal period laws
  • Complete management certification and safety training
  • Perform physical tasks as required
  • Utilize computer skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Communicate effectively
  • Complete required alcohol service training
