The position offered is a supervisory role focused on recruiting, developing, and managing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support Walmart's growth potential. Supervisors are responsible for the development of associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing performance, and fostering a workplace culture rooted in belonging. The role actively supports the Open Door Policy and provides guidance on executing business practices aligned with Walmart's culture.

Walmart offers competitive pay for this position with an annual salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, along with performance-based bonuses and other benefits. These benefits include comprehensive health coverage (medical, vision, dental), financial benefits like 401(k), stock purchase plans, and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off includes PTO for vacation and sick leave, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. Job Requirements

  • Two years of college or one year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience or two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience
  • Successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments
  • Ability to pass criminal background check and firearms authorized training for firearms facilities
  • Acknowledge requirements for state-specific certificates where applicable
  • Commitment to maintaining a drug-free workplace
  • Willingness to attend all required training

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of college
  • One year of retail experience and one year of supervisory experience
  • Two years of general work experience and one year of supervisory experience
  • Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports
  • Knowledge of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership preferred
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership preferred
