Job Requirements
- Completion of 2 years of college
- One year experience as a supervisor in a multi-department environment
- One year experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection
- Two years experience in asset protection or related area
- Successful completion of applicable state requirements for asset protection
- Current state-issued certificate of eligibility if applicable
- Successful completion of criminal background check and firearms training if applicable
- Ability to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
- Willingness to comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Completion of 2 years of college

- One year experience in accounting, claims, inventory control, systems/UPC, personnel, or loss prevention/asset protection
- Two years experience in asset protection or related area
- Successful completion of applicable state requirements for asset protection
- Current state-issued certificate of eligibility if applicable
- Successful completion of criminal background check and firearms training if applicable
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Criminal Justice preferred
- Certification in asset protection field preferred
- Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports managing performance, mentoring, hiring, and firing
- Investigative experience
Job Duties
- Drive sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation including pricing, signing, inventory levels, cleanliness
- Lead and develop teams through training, feedback, store tours, and communication
- Model exceptional customer service standards and manage customer service initiatives
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates including hiring, training, and mentoring
- Control unexplained loss of merchandise by enforcing loss prevention policies and conducting investigations
- Monitor safety programs, identify accident trends, deliver training on accident prevention, and oversee safety reviews
- Manage facility-level training and execution of asset protection, safety, claims, and receiving procedures
- Coordinate job-related activities by building relationships, supporting initiatives, and measuring progress
- Ensure compliance with company policies and foster an inclusive, ethical work culture
