The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s globally recognized brand logos and food products but functions as an independent employer responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling. As a prospective employee, your relationship, if hired, will be directly with this franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.
