The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s trademarks, logos, and food products but operates as a separate company with full control over its employment practices. This structure means that while the restaurant delivers the well-known McDonald’s experience, all employment decisions including hiring, firing, scheduling, and supervision are managed exclusively by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA is not involved in these operational or employment decisions. The franchisee is committed to staffing its restaurant with dedicated, motivated, and hardworking individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and embody excellent customer service values.
