It is important to note that this franchisee is a separate company from McDonald’s USA and is the sole employer responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald’s USA does not have control over these employment actions and is not involved in the hiring process. If hired, you will be employed by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA.
The restaurant is part of the globally recognized McDonald’s brand, known for serving delicious food and creating feel-good moments for its customers. This position offers a competitive starting pay of $18 per hour and includes a range of valuable benefits. The role is full-time and provides excellent opportunities for career advancement with a clear path to grow within the company.
This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about leadership and customer service, and who want a satisfying career with great benefits and opportunities for advancement. The position involves managing restaurant operations to ensure a fast, accurate, and friendly experience for customers during every visit. As a Department Manager, you will lead shifts weekly and may oversee key areas such as Training, Food Safety, Inventory Management, Guest Service, Kitchen operations, or People Management. Your leadership will be crucial in setting goals, delegating tasks, coaching your team, and driving high standards of service and food quality.
The Guest Service Department Manager focuses on ensuring that crew and managers deliver excellent customer experiences, maintain service promotions, and organize service areas like the Front Counter, McCafe, and Drive-Thru for optimal efficiency. The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the quality and safety of food, controls food costs, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures including new menu items. The People Department Manager oversees hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating crew members to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.
Successful candidates will have previous managerial experience, ideally from restaurant, retail, or hospitality environments, and possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Flexibility in scheduling and a positive team-player attitude are essential, as the restaurant operates extensive hours throughout the year. This role is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service while fostering a supportive and engaging workplace culture.
In addition to competitive pay, the franchisee offers full-time Department Managers a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401k retirement plan, short- and long-term disability, life and accident insurance, paid leaves of absence, and bonus programs. The company supports continuous learning through Archways to Opportunity, providing opportunities for high school completion, college tuition assistance up to $3,000 annually, English language classes, and an online bachelor’s degree program through Colorado Tech University. Employees also enjoy additional perks like free meals, service awards, manager outings, a culture of teamwork and community involvement, and stability in a growing company.
If you value a role where you can build your skills, pursue your education, and be yourself in a supportive team environment, this position provides a meaningful career path.
