This job opportunity is with a McDonald’s restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, distinct and separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, which allows them to run the restaurant positively reflecting the McDonald’s brand. However, all employment decisions — including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, and scheduling employees — are handled solely by the franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. This means that if you are hired for this position, your employer will be the franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. McDonald’s USA does not get involved in employment matters for the franchisee-operated restaurants and does not receive a copy of your employment application or make any employment decisions.
