Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Champion company and division customer service programs to meet or exceed customer service goals
- handle customer relations positively including effective resolution of complaints
- promote Albertson's philosophy of personalized service in the coffee bar
- prepare specialty drinks and beverages and stock pastry and display cases
- order, receive, break downloads, stock, display and rotate product ensuring quality, temperature, cleanliness, selection, display and inventory levels
- prevent sale of out of code products
- create effective displays for coffee, cups, pastry and related merchandise
- maintain and clean production equipment
- operate check stand equipment to process customer orders and monitor cash handling procedures
- assist customers by answering product questions and taking special orders
- engage in suggestive selling
- make intercom announcements
- liaise with vendors ensuring compliance with their requirements
- monitor inventory and space security
- supervise, motivate, train and participate in hiring coffee bar personnel
- monitor associate performance and recommend personnel actions
- schedule personnel to ensure adequate coverage and budgetary goals
- supervise day-to-day coffee bar functions to achieve service and profit objectives
- conduct daily inspections and initiate corrective measures for stock, sanitation, safety and security
- assist with cleaning, stocking, storage and customer service
