Job Description
This job opportunity is with a restaurant operated by an independent franchisee licensed to use McDonald's branding and food products. It is important to note that this franchisee operates as a separate business entity from McDonald's USA and is the sole employer responsible for all employment-related matters including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not participate in the hiring process and does not have control over employment decisions at this restaurant. By applying for this position, you acknowledge that your application will be reviewed only by the franchisee, who will make all decisions related to your employment.
The restaurant offers an energetic, fast-paced working environment where employees can develop their skills, earn competitive pay, and enjoy meaningful benefits. The franchisee values individuals eager to grow their careers, pursue education opportunities, and work collaboratively within a team setting focused on delivering outstanding customer service and quality food products. This position is designed for managers who aspire to lead teams confidently while maintaining high standards in customer experience, operations, and team development.
The managerial role is diverse and impactful, emphasizing leadership, operational excellence, and team engagement. Managers at this restaurant are responsible for ensuring customers receive fast, friendly, and accurate service during each visit. Depending on the department to which a manager is assigned, responsibilities may include overseeing guest service, kitchen operations, or people management. Guest Service Managers focus on organizing front counter and drive-thru service areas, training staff in service procedures, and executing sales promotions effectively. Kitchen Managers emphasize food quality, safety, cost management, and training kitchen staff, including the integration of new menu items. People Managers handle crew recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and motivation to meet sales and profit goals.
This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and possess positive attitudes and leadership potential. Previous management experience, especially in restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors, is preferred. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to be eligible for a manager position in corporate-owned stores.
Besides competitive compensation, managers benefit from comprehensive perks including paid vacation, holidays, sabbatical leaves, tuition assistance through Archways to Opportunity, and health coverage. The employer invests in employee development and welfare, creating avenues for career progression, education, and work-life balance. If you are motivated by the prospect of making a meaningful impact, advancing professionally, and being part of a supportive team culture, this restaurant management role offers a promising and rewarding career path.
