The franchisee holds a license to use McDonald's logos, branding, and food products but functions as an entirely separate business entity from McDonald's USA. This means that if hired, you will be employed directly by the franchise owner, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee is solely responsible for all employment-related decisions including hiring, firing, scheduling, staffing, and employee discipline. McDonald's USA does not control these aspects and does not review applications or influence hiring processes at the franchisee's restaurant.
