Job Description
This job opportunity is with a McDonald's restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee is a separate entity licensed to use McDonald's logos and food products; they are solely responsible for employment matters, including hiring, firing, and employee management. McDonald's USA does not control or influence these processes at the franchisee-operated location. This means that if hired, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald's USA. This distinction is important for understanding the nature of your employment relationship and where to direct any employment-related inquiries or concerns.
The franchisee-operated McDonald's restaurant offers a dynamic work environment where team members and managers can thrive and grow. The position available is one that promises a satisfying career path with opportunities for advancement, good benefits, and the chance to build a lasting career at a globally recognized brand, albeit under the management of a local franchise owner. The role is designed to support candidates who seek flexibility, growth, and a chance to make an impact in a fast-paced setting.
This management position involves leading shifts and teams to ensure customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service every time they visit. In addition to shift leadership, some managers have the chance to specialize by managing key restaurant departments such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People management. This specialization allows managers to focus on specific areas—whether it's enhancing customer service experience, maintaining food quality and safety, or recruiting and training staff to meet restaurant goals.
Guest Service Department Managers focus on delivering outstanding customer experiences by ensuring crew and managers follow service procedures, properly execute sales promotions, and maintain organized Front Counter, McCafe, and Drive-Thru areas. Kitchen Department Managers oversee the quality and safety of food, manage food costs, and ensure all kitchen staff are well trained in production procedures, including new menu items. People Department Managers are responsible for hiring qualified crew, scheduling staff to meet sales and profit objectives, training employees, and fostering a positive, motivating workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will likely have prior management experience, especially in restaurants, retail, or hospitality industries. Candidates should be positive, flexible team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. This role is not only about running operations smoothly but also about being a part of a team that values energy, purpose, leadership development, and employee growth. The position also promotes educational advancement with benefits such as college tuition assistance, valuable job training, and retirement plans.
Overall, this job offers more than just daily tasks; it’s a chance to be part of a larger community within the McDonald's franchise family, helping to create feel-good moments through serving delicious food while progressing in your career. If you are ready to take on a role that challenges and rewards you, with flexible hours and a supportive team, applying to this franchise-operated McDonald's may be the right move for you.
