Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by a restaurant operated under an independent McDonald's franchisee, separate from McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is licensed to use McDonald’s logos and food products to provide customers with the familiar McDonald’s experience. However, the franchisee functions as a distinct entity responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, and scheduling of employees. McDonald’s USA itself has no control over employment decisions, and applicants will deal directly with the franchisee. This unique setup allows the franchise to maintain McDonald’s strong brand reputation while operating independently to serve customers effectively in their local market.

Job Duties

  • manage assigned departments like Guest Service, Kitchen, or People Management
  • delegate tasks and follow up on team performance
  • set departmental goals and report results
  • ensure all crew and managers are trained in relevant procedures
  • maintain food quality, safety, and cost controls
  • organize service areas like Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru
  • hire, train, and schedule crew to meet sales and profit targets
  • motivate and recognize team members
