This job opportunity is available at a restaurant owned and operated by an independent McDonald’s franchisee. Unlike McDonald’s USA corporate operations, this franchisee operates as a separate business entity holding a license to use McDonald's logos and food products. The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters including hiring, firing, scheduling, and management and acts as your direct employer if you are hired. This distinction ensures a more localized and personalized management approach tailored to the specific restaurant's community and customer base, while still benefiting from the global recognition and resources associated with the McDonald’s brand.

The position open is for a Department Manager within the restaurant. Department Managers play a critical role in the daily operations and overall success of the business. They lead shifts regularly, ensuring that customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service with every visit. Each Department Manager is assigned specific operational areas within the restaurant such as Guest Service, Kitchen, or People management. Guest Service Managers focus on delivering excellent customer interactions, coordinating sales promotions, training service staff, and organizing front counter, drive-thru, and delivery areas. Kitchen Managers prioritize food quality, safety, cost control, and training kitchen staff on food preparation and new menu items. People Managers concentrate on recruiting qualified crew members, delivering comprehensive training programs, motivating staff, and efficient scheduling aligned with restaurant sales and profitability goals.

Successful candidates will have previous managerial experience, preferably in restaurants, retail, or hospitality sectors, be positive team players, flexible with schedules, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A minimum age requirement of 18 years is in place for this role.
