Job Description

Our team is hiring a driven Department Manager! Department Managers play a critical role in managing teams, training employees, monitoring food safety and inventory, and driving sales and profit goals. You will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in the kitchen, guest services, or people (human resources) departments, ensuring smooth operations and motivating your staff to perform at their best.

As a Department Manager, you will be delegated significant responsibilities including setting goals, delegating tasks, following up on progress, and reporting results to upper management. Your leadership will ensure that procedures for production, service, and employee training are followed diligently with constant emphasis on safety and quality control. Whether managing kitchen operations, overseeing crew hiring and scheduling, or ensuring the guest service areas exceed customer expectations, your role is essential in fostering an engaging work environment and delivering an outstanding experience for customers every day.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • manage training food safety and inventory management systems
  • set goals and delegate tasks to teams
  • follow up and report results to team and other managers
  • ensure high quality food delivery and food safety in kitchen
  • control food cost and train kitchen staff in production procedures
  • hire qualified crew train them and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals
  • motivate and engage employees through recognition
  • ensure memorable customer experience and proper execution of sales promotions
  • train service staff and organize front counter McCafe and drive-thru for best service
