This franchisee operates under a license to use McDonald's logos, food products, and branding, creating a well-known and trusted fast food environment. Therefore, all employment matters such as hiring, firing, staffing, scheduling, and discipline are handled exclusively by the franchisee. McDonald's USA does not have any control over these employment functions or involvement in recruitment or hiring decisions, making the franchisee the sole employer of the staff working at the restaurant.
