The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and prior experience in a dental or dental surgery office environment. The receptionist will be responsible for managing a variety of critical administrative tasks including verifying insurance information, assisting with patient billing inquiries, managing phone calls, and preparing and distributing patient reports to referring providers. This person will also maintain and optimize appointment scheduling while coordinating daily patient flow to support efficient clinical operations and exceptional service.

Additionally, this role requires collecting patient outstanding balances and ensuring accurate payment processing, maintaining and updating patient records with confidentiality and precision, and handling general administrative duties such as scanning, faxing, and managing correspondence. Effective communication within the team and with other offices is paramount to ensure smooth operations and high patient satisfaction.

This position offers a competitive pay rate starting from $28.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the receptionist's contribution to the practice. The work schedule is Monday from 9:00 AM to 5 PM and Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5 PM, with a flexible lunch break option to accommodate the busy clinic environment. The successful candidate will primarily be based in Bellingham on Mondays and will travel between our Bellingham and Mount Vernon offices from Tuesday to Friday, necessitating flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of both locations.

Our practice supports professional growth and provides a team-oriented work environment designed to support our employees’ success. If you have the dedication and skills to excel in this role, we welcome your application along with a resume and cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.
