Job Description

American Dental Associates is a rapidly growing, privately owned dental practice with multiple locations throughout the Chicagoland area. Known for its commitment to delivering high-quality dental care in a comfortable and friendly environment, American Dental prides itself on creating an exceptional patient experience. With offices in Archer, Lincoln Park, Central, Palos Heights, Lawrence, Grand / River West, and Downtown Loop / Dearborn, the practice offers a broad reach to serve diverse communities across the city. The company focuses on combining modern dental technology with compassionate care, ensuring patients feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk through the door or make a phone call. As a privately owned practice, American Dental emphasizes the importance of a collaborative and supportive workplace culture where team members grow and thrive together. They offer opportunities for professional development, ongoing training, and career advancement to help employees build fulfilling long-term careers in the dental field.

The role of Dental Receptionist at American Dental Associates is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working closely with people in a dynamic healthcare setting while maintaining excellent organizational skills. This is a full-time position designed to provide a 5-star experience for every patient from the first point of contact. Although no prior dental experience is required, candidates with backgrounds in reception, administration, or customer service will find this role rewarding and aligned with their skills. The company provides full dental training and ongoing support, which equips new team members with all the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed. As a Dental Receptionist, your responsibilities include greeting and checking in patients with a warm and professional demeanor, answering phones, scheduling appointments efficiently, and assisting patients with questions about treatment plans and financial matters. You will utilize Google Drive, Google Docs, Excel, and Dentrix dental software to keep accurate front desk records and promote smooth operations.

This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, positive, and eager to learn, with strong communication abilities and organizational skills. Being comfortable with technology and office equipment is essential, as is the capacity to handle patient payments and financial discussions confidently. While bilingual candidates are preferred, this is not a requirement. American Dental Associates values diversity and encourages applicants who can contribute to a welcoming environment for patients of all backgrounds. In addition to a flexible schedule, the benefits package offered includes paid time off, paid holidays, paid lunch breaks, health insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, dental discounts, paid training and professional development programs, and bonus opportunities. These benefits help promote work-life balance and overall employee well-being. This role provides an excellent pathway to grow within the dental profession while working for a respected and community-focused organization.

If you are looking to join a fast-paced, supportive dental team where you can make a meaningful difference in patients’ experiences and develop your career, American Dental Associates invites you to apply today and start a rewarding journey in dental healthcare.
